HR & Admin Assistant
Location: : Lichfield - West Midlands
Rate: £ 16 K (full-time (per year))
Working with the on site Manager and liaising with the HR Manager in Belgium, to design , develop and implement appropriate recruitment drives to ensure suitable candidates are sourced and pl;aced within the operation, including assisting with interviewing processes where necessary.
To review, amend and update as necessary all current internal training programmes to include induction training ensuring the appropriate personnel are trained to deliver induction at unit level.
To plan, implement and manage annual training calender, allocating candidates in accordance with recruitment and succession planning and in conjunction with the operations team.
To source and implement external training programmes where applicable.
To advise line Manager on disciplinary matters, ensuring company policy and legislation is adhered to and sound employee relations are fecilitated, seeking further guidance from the HR Manager where required.
To ensure all aspect of administrative requirements are met.
To control the holiday/ absence register and manage any maternity/ paternity issues.
You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, have an interest in people management and understand employment law.
